Dr. Chester grew up in Toronto, Canada. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from McMaster University before attending the University of Toronto to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery as one of 2 provincial recipients of the TD Canada Trust Scholarship for Community Leadership.

Dr. Ella joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2008 and served as a Dental Officer across Canadian and international bases for almost 10 years, getting multiple commendations and eventually receiving the honour of being the exclusive dentist for JTF2, the Canadian Special Forces Unit.  During this time Ella completed a year long surgical residency course to enhance her clinical skills in implant placement and complex extractions. She is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is an Associate Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. She persistently takes Continuing Education courses to enhance her knowledge of endodontics, prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry.

Ella’s work made her passionate about treating patients with PTSD and general anxiety and she has completed additional training to administer IV sedation in Canada. After her service with the military she worked in a surgical practice in Hamilton alongside Periodontists and Maxillo-facial Surgeons with a focus on wisdom tooth extraction and implant placement under sedation.

Dr. Ella’s passion is working with patients who are nervous about dental work. Her goal is to create a positive patient environment and help anyone feel confident and comfortable about dental treatment.

After several years of working across various practices in Queensland, Dr. Ella decided to open a practice close to home. A Newport local herself, Dr. Ella is thrilled to serve the Newport community

Dr Ella has returned from Maternity leave and is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Dr Sandra graduated from the University of Queensland Dental School in 1996, as Dux and with First Class Honours. She was awarded a Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence and the University of Queensland Medal.

Since her graduation Dr Sandra has been in private practice as a General Dentist and has supervised at UQ Dental School.

Dr Sandra is passionate about Oral Health and Dental Hygiene and has a keen interest in Restorative Dentistry and Family Dental Care, in particular the dental challenges faced as a child and, just as importantly, as we mature.

Having 4 adolescent/adult children, her free time is spent watching them play sport, proofreading essays, building up a hundred hours of driving for the next learner driver or, finding the partner of that missing lone sock. She understands how busy family life can be, but also how vital a parent’s own dental health and role modelling is to help set up great oral health for their children.

Sandra is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Dr Gaurav graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Dental Health Science. He has experience working with people suffering from anxiety, depression and other mental health issues which consequently has helped to grow his passion for caring for his dental patients, whilst providing them with dental treatment in the most comfortable and assuring environment. Becoming a valuable member at Chrysalis Dental Care, Dr Gaurav aims to take his time to build a rapport with his patients, understand their concerns and needs, whilst helping them achieve confidence through a healthy and beautiful smile.

Dr Gaurav has a particular interest in orthodontics, paediatric and periodontal health, he also offers anti-wrinkle and dermal filler injectables. He has completed the Invisalign Go course and Spark Aligners course, restore my first implant and nitrous oxide symposium. In his spare time, he enjoys spending his time cooking and exploring different foods and new places around Brisbane.

Dr Gaurav is available on Saturdays.
