Dental Implants

WHAT ARE DENTAL IMPLANTS?

Permanent solution for tooth loss

Dental implants represent a common procedure of permanently replacing missing teeth without affecting neighboring teeth.

With the help of dental implants, we can fully remedy toothlessness and thus strongly improve chewing and speaking abilities as well as restore a beautiful smile. Implants can also serve as carriers of a fixed dental bridge or denture.

A Precision Process from Start to Finish

At Chrysalis Dental Care we will complete a comprehensive diagnostic to assess the type and number of dental implants that are optimal for you.

Step 1. Digital Scan and CBCT

The first step will be to take photographs of your smile and decide how many implants are required for optimal function and aesthetics. We will then proceed with a 3D digital scan of your mouth to have a working digital model of your smile. To decide the exact type of surgical procedure required we will then complete an on-site 3D scan of the bone to see if we must make any special considerations.

Step 2. Tooth Design

We will combine the digital scan of your teeth with the CBCT bone scan to fully recreate the area of interest. After designing the final crown, we can use the modelling to pick the optimal position of your implant to achieve the best possible result. Afterwards, we will 3D print a surgical guide that will allow us to place the implant with greater speed and precision than conventional non-guided implant placement.

Step 3. Day of Surgery

On the day of surgery we will be placing the implant with the use of the 3D printed guide. This method allows for a minimally invasive procedure, frequently without the need of any stitches for a quick recovery.

Step 4. Final Prosthetic

Once the implant has fully integrated into the bone, we will work with our dedicated lab to create a highly functional and aesthetic result. Because we planned the entire process with the end goal in mind, we can be confident in the final look and function of your dental implant.
